Nancy Siegel is Professor of Art History and Culinary History at Towson University. Her most recent book, Susie M. Barstow: Redefining the Hudson River School, complements the 2023 touring exhibition she is co-curating, Women Reframe American Landscape: Susie Barstow & Her Circle/Contemporary Practices. This exhibit builds upon her 2010 exhibition, Remember the Ladies: Women of the Hudson River School.

For this program, she will present Susie Barstow's life and art in the context of her time, and demonstrate how her work is a part of an ongoing tradition of women artists working in the region.
