We’re looking forward to hosting a special event on Thursday 15 September, from 6.30–8.30pm, to launch Gregory Sholette’s new book: ‘The Art of Activism and the Activism of Art’, at the Showroom, London.

The publication maps, critiques, celebrates and historicises the overlapping phenomenon of current cultural activism, from the dual perspective of a commentator (as scholar and writer) and insider (as activist artist).

Join Gregory Sholette and his guests, Kathrin Böhm, Carlos Garrido Castellano, and Kuba Szreder in an evening of discussion, on the topic of socially engaged art at a time of intensifying political, economic and environmental and military crisis.

Copies of the publication will be available on the night for a special launch price!
There will be drinks after the talk, which have been kindly provided by Lund Humphries; and diverse economies elderflower cordial courtesy of contributing artist Kathrin Böhm and Company Drinks.
With thanks to Social Practice CUNY and The Showroom for support with this launch event.

THANKS TO ALL WHO ATTENDED!
