Photography of Protest and Community
Thursday 21 October 2021, 6-7pm
An online discussion hosted by the LSE Achives

How did the radical collective Exit Photography group chronicle changing landscapes and human spirit in Britain's cities in the 1970s.

Join Dr Noni Stacey and Indy Bhullar for an in conversation about the striking photographs of the Exit Photography Group and the social history they collected in late 70s urban Britain. A pre-recorded video will show the archives - photographs, proofs, magazines and interviews - followed by a question and answer session on these photographs and the wider context.

This event marks the publication of Dr Noni Stacey's Photography of Protest and Community: The Radical Collectives of the 1970s, published by Lund Humphries.
